SHOOT IT RIGHT - EBOOK
Videography is the art and craft of capturing moving images. At its simplest, it is a sequence ofstill frames played back fast enough to create the illusion of motion — typically 24, 25, or 30frames per second. At its most complex, it is a complete filmmaking discipline involving cameras, lenses, light, sound, movement, pacing, and story.
The difference between videography and filmmaking is largely one of scale and intention. A videographer might shoot a wedding, a corporate event, or a YouTube series — working alone or in a small team, covering real events as they happen. A filmmaker constructs a world: writesa script, designs each shot, directs actors, and shapes every element deliberately. In practice these roles blur constantly, and the skills overlap almost entirely.
